Pointe du Hoc

This new monument ready in place for D-day 2007, is close to the visitor centre and explains the Rangers assault on the cliffs. The monument cast in brass is very difficult to photograph. One of the panels shows the "Bigot" map that the Rangers had on DE-day, almost all the bunkers that were built on the cliffs are shown. The monument also has engraved upon it, the speech given by President Regan on D-day 1994.
