Utah Beach

Utah Beach was the main focus of the American Celebrations on the anniversary of D-day. In the morning a school from the Bordeaux area laid a wreath in the presence of two Veterans. The was also the only running Cushman Scooter running up and down for most of the day. In  the evening the main celebration was held with a veteran from both the 4th and 90th Divisions together with a French veteran who had flown giving air support on D-day over Utah Beach. After the wreath laying a German Militay band entertained the large crowd.
