American Cemetery at Colleville

We managed to attend two events at Colleville. The first at 09:30 D-day for a wreath laying ceremony, and on the 7th in the evening for the flag lowing service which had the Somme Pipe Band. In the morning there was a fly past by C130's. The picture of the veteran is an old Sea Dog from England, who served on HMS Ulster on D-day off Sword Beach. He lives in Birmingham and has celebrated his 90th birthday and is a regular visitor on D-day.
